With over three decades of experience and a track record of global expansion, Othman Aljeda’s career is a masterclass in logistics leadership. After a distinguished 31-year tenure at Aramex, he resigned from his position as Group CEO in April 2025. Today, he leverages his extensive expertise as an advisor and board member for several organizations, providing strategic guidance on complex challenges in global supply chain dynamics.
Aljeda’s journey with Aramex began in 1994 when he joined as a management trainee. His talent was immediately apparent, and he swiftly moved into leadership roles, first as the General Manager in Qatar and then in Saudi Arabia, where he was a key figure in establishing Aramex’s presence in the market.
His career at Aramex was marked by a series of strategic milestones. In 2007, he took on the challenge of building Aramex’s first office in Asia and successfully led expansion efforts in Hong Kong and Singapore. As the Regional CEO for Europe, North America, and Asia, he played a pivotal role in major company acquisitions, including the successful integration of Mail Call and Fastway Couriers in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. He also stepped up as the Interim Chief Operating Officer in 2020, demonstrating his adaptability and commitment to the company.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Aljeda is dedicated to shaping the next generation of logistics professionals. He actively engages with universities, contributing to MBA programs and sharing his extensive knowledge. He holds a BA from Richmond University in the UK and has further honed his skills through executive development and management programs at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His journey from a management trainee to a global industry leader is a testament to his dedication and strategic vision.
